The Music Cellar
The Music Cellar
The Music Cellar is a space in central Millerton, NY dedicated to music education. We offer private lessons in many different instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, and piano, as well as group lessons for younger children. In addition to lessons, we also offer recording sessions in our studio and rehearsal space.

Olivia Valentine Markonic classifies herself as more of a hobbyist than a professional photographer. She relocated back to her hometown of Millerton, NY eleven years ago. Photography became a huge part of her life when she became a mother. She was constantly taking pictures of her three girls and soon started taking photos of her friends’ children and their friends’ children. She recalls racing to the local camera shop with the film in the camera rewinding, eager to see what she had managed to freeze in time. Although she has switched to digital, she misses film. When she picked up her photos and went through them, she would instantly buy frames to put the photos in she deemed worthy. That isn’t the case so much with digital. Gilded Moon Framing, founded in 2004, is located in an early 1900’s bank building overlooking the historic village of Millerton, New York. We support many local community causes and are a family owned and operated custom picture frame shop. All work is done on site and customers are welcome to see our framing production area. Our clients have come to expect the most up-to-date techniques, materials, and technology available in custom picture framing. Whenever possible we reuse, repurpose, recycle, and donate leftover materials from our work. In addition, always striving for the best for our customers, the entire staff at Gilded Moon Framing regularly attends training sessions with industry leaders to keep abreast on how to best handle your fine art.
